ASU Dual Credit Courses, Start With One

Start with one course if you’re new to dual credit. It’s a recommendation, not a limit—students can take more than one.

Landmark Academics coordinates enrollment in Arizona State University Universal Learner Courses for high school students. Browse courses and plan in MilestoneMap. Students complete ASU's college-level coursework to earn the credit listed for each course.

On-Demand course access begins after enrollment is confirmed; scheduled courses follow their session start dates.

How enrollment works

  1. Choose a course

Browse the ASU dual-credit courses below. Every course carries real ASU college credit; the exact 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-credit value is shown on its card.

  2. Pay the course price

The one-time price is $325 total. It covers the ASU course plus Landmark handling your application, ASURITE setup, and registration, with Planner access to map the course into your student's plan.

  3. Complete intake & start

Fill in a short student form after payment. Landmark confirms enrollment; allow 5–10 business days for ASU to create the student ID and start the class.

Questions about ASU dual credit

Who provides the course, and what does Landmark do?

Arizona State University provides the university coursework and awards the college credit. Landmark Academics coordinates the ASU application, account setup, and registration. MilestoneMap is the course-browsing and planning platform; it is not the university awarding the credit.

How much does a course cost through Landmark?

The listed Landmark course price is $325 per ASU dual-credit course. ASU dual-credit courses are purchased separately from Landmark Academy high-school course bundles. Adding a course to a plan does not purchase it or enroll the student.

Can an On-Demand course start immediately after purchase?

Not immediately. Complete the student intake after payment and allow 5–10 business days for ASU student ID creation and enrollment setup. On-Demand courses have flexible starts after enrollment is confirmed; scheduled courses follow their selected session dates.

How many credits does a course earn, and how long does it take?

ASU courses in this catalog carry 1–4 college credits. Check the selected offering's credit value, course length, and session dates before enrolling. College-credit hours and high-school credits describe credit earned, not course length; a 1.0-high-school-credit course does not necessarily last two semesters.

Will the course transfer or count toward high-school graduation?

The receiving college decides whether it accepts a course, which course it is equivalent to, and whether it satisfies the student's degree requirements. Check that fit before enrolling. The student's parent or high school determines how completed coursework applies to the high-school record. An official ASU transcript request is a separate step from completing the course.

Is ASU dual credit the same as AP or CLEP?

No. ASU dual credit comes from university coursework, not an AP or CLEP exam. Students still complete the course's assignments and grading requirements. AP and CLEP are separate exam-based credit options governed by each receiving college's policies.

Can education funding pay for a course?

Funding depends on the student's program, award, eligible expenses, and purchase rules. Contact Landmark before paying if you plan to use Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) or other education funding. Vendor approval alone does not guarantee that a particular student's course purchase is covered.
